The Yarra Valley isn’t just for wine lovers. In fact if you love beer, gin and cider, the Yarra Valley has the most producers of any region in Victoria and you’d be hard pressed to visit them all in one day. From the list below you’ll notice that Healesville is definitely the centre of the action and in fact you can actually walk between Watts River, Four Pillars, Alchemy and Matilda Bay. Outside of Healesville, the rest of the producers are spread out between Coldstream and Yarra Glen with Kellybrook Winery in Wonga Park.

Watts River Brewing – Healesville
Open Monday to Thursday 11am to 5pm. Friday & Sunday 11am to 9pm and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
Order a paddle of 5 beers to try for just $20. This tasting includes 5 half pots of beer, 4 from our core range: Blonde, River Sessions, IPA & Stout + a beer of your choice from our tap selection. This is available for tables of 1 to 4 people.
For groups of more than 4 people we provide a paddle of our 4 core beers for $15.

Coldstream Brewery – Healesville
Open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 9pm. Opens at midday on Sundays.
Matilda Bay Brewery – Healesville – Yarra Valley Brewpub
Open Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm to 10pm. Happy hour from 3-6 on weekdays!
The Matilda Bay Brew Pub is currently open Wednesday till Sunday. If your group is eight or less, just walk on in and we’ll find you a table. For groups greater than eight, please contact us to make arrangements for you and your guests.
Napoleone Cider – Coldstream
Open 12-5pm on weekends. Fair weather venue.
Nestled within the Napoleone Family Orchards, the Napoleone Orchard Bar is the newest addition to the wide range of artisanal venues in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.
The menu pays homage to the humble apple – house-made apple and pear ciders, imports from France and a selection of Australian guest ciders. Calvados and Applejacks feature as well as tasting paddles showcasing house made ciders.
St Ronan’s Cider – Coldstream
Open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
Hop Hen Brewery – Lilydale
Open Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 9pm, Friday 2pm to 10pm and 12 to 8pm on weekends.
