Our new custom built Winery & Cellar Bar is open for lunch & dinner in the heart of the Yarra Valley, at 8 Hunter Road, Healesville. Serving all four ranges of wine made by Jayden Ong, as well as some local legends and a lengthy list of compelling internationals. Plenty of options offered by the glass, as well as refreshing local beer and well made cocktails using unique hand crafted spirits and ingredients.

Our philosophy pays homage to the very best ingredients, cooked simply. Fresh sustainably fished seafood, pasture raised meat from local farmers, the first peas of spring pulled from the garden that morning. From the service to the produce, the magic is in the detail. Payten & Jones
Payten and Jones have a strong focus on sustainability. Our wines and vineyards have been carefully developed over the years to capture the unique location of the Yarra Valley.
Drinking our wines is like going to see a live band as opposed to listening to a CD – all the interesting and random fun stuff is left in. Our cellar door is located in the local neighbourhood of Healesville. Offering a range of curated wine experiences with staff guided tastings, local beers and an eclectic array of spirits, enjoy the unique atmosphere and relaxed approach.
Do I need to Book for Tastings or Drinks?
Bookings aren’t essential mid week for any group of less than 8 people for tastings. Bookings essential over 8 people to secure a table on weekends.
Just fancy a bevvy? Our drinks tables are available on a walk-in basis, however groups over 6 should consider booking a table during our peak period of 2-5pm on weekends.
Our drink tables are open to the elements.
What are your Tasting Fees and what can I expect?
We are showing 6 of our current vintages wine in a seated tasting hosted by our qualified and friendly staff for a duration of 30 minutes with the possibility to stay for drinks .
Up to 8 people/$10 per head: refundable on individual bottle purchased.
Booking recommended on weekends, but not essential mid week.
9 up to 20 people/$10 per head: pre paid,10% discount on any retail wine purchase.
Booking essentials, weekends only from 11am – 3pm.
Four Pillars
Our gin distillery is located in Healesville, in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, about an hour’s drive from Melbourne. Bookings are essential.
Our distillery Tuck Shop headed up by Caro Gray offers a small menu of Made From Gin goods and other tasty bites for you to enjoy alongside a mini G&T paddle or one of our gin cocktail specials!
Watts River Brewing
We are passionate about Craft Beer and the Yarra Valley, which is why we have taken our name from the beautiful Watts River which flows right through the heart of Healesville.
Our Cellar Door is now open in Healesville serving our core range of beers plus special batches, a curated selection of Yarra Valley wines, plus Vodka, Gin & soft drinks. If you’re peckish, we also serve Pizza, Corn and snacks. We have a young family, and have strived to create a relaxed welcoming environment that welcomes locals and visitors of all ages.
