Good Times Tours offers one of the best day trips from Melbourne! This tour involves spending the morning cycling 30kms of the Warburton Rail Trail which traverses through the stunning Yarra Valley countryside and then spending the afternoon visiting the region’s wineries. This is the ultimate day out for that right combination between effort and reward in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.

Tour Departs

Russell Street Extension directly behind Federation Square at 8:00am on designated days. Please note it’s approximately 200m from Flinders Street Station. From here we will depart for Yarra Valley Cycles in Lilydale where we will pick up your bicycles for the day. Our goal is to be cycling by 10am so you can be finished around 1am for lunch and an afternoon exploring wineries.

Tour Returns

Melbourne at approx. 6:30 (drop-off address is the same as pickup)

Minimum Group Size – 2

Maximum Group Size – 6

Bicycle – Guests will be supplied with a comfortable mountain bike.

Activity Level – The day involves approx. 30km of easy cycling. For guests worried about the distance I can make it a shorter ride as the trail has multiple drop-off and pickup points.

Food – Fruit/Muesli bars and bottled water is supplied to guests whilst cycling. For lunch guests can choose to bring their own lunch or I’d highly recommend Three Sugars Cafe which is 50m from where you’ll finish the ride in Warburton. Your bike will be securely stored on the vehicle whilst you enjoy lunch.

What to bring – Your day pack with water bottle, towel, hat, jacket, sunglasses and sunscreen.

Price – $150 per person. Price includes return transport from Melbourne, bicycle hire, snacks and tastings at 3 wineries.
