Great Ocean Road / Otways & Grampians – 2 Day Road Trip

In March this year I took a bunch of American college students who were in Melbourne for 8 weeks on a private tour of the Great Ocean Road, Otways and the Grampians National Park. It’s a huge amount of ground to cover over two days but for those short on time, it’s an awesome way to see the highlights of Western Victoria. Below are some happy snaps from that trip –

Bells Beach, the perfect place to start a coastal road trip
Bells Beach
Split Point Lighthouse – Airey’s Inlet
Amazing how much sunshine makes the ocean colours come alive
Start of the Great Ocean Road with the American Super Crew
The cockatoo whisperer in Lorne
Exploring the Otway Redwoods
Triplet Falls – Otways National Park
The crew enjoyed the last section of the GOW from Princetown to the Gibson Steps
Wild and moody weather at the 12 Apostles
The awesome Port Campbell backpackers is now even better
We ditched the wild coast for the Grampians National Park
On top of the Pinnacles – Grampians National Park
Looking out towards where the future Grampians Peaks Trail will run
Looking over the interior of the Grampians from Reeds Lookout
Post walk snack city
