Sealers Cove
Victoria’s Best Introductory Overnight Hike
The return hike to Sealers Cove is one of the most popular overnight hikes in Victoria and an awesome adventure for both beginners and experienced hikers alike.
The trail starts from Telegraph Saddle carpark and climbs 140m over the first few kilometres to a clearing known as Windy Saddle which is a great place to take a rest before descending through thick vegetation over the next 6km’s. The last 1km is along a boardwalk that takes you through wet fern gullies and swamps before arriving at the serene Sealers Cove.
The campground at Sealers Cove is at the southern end of the beach and is well protected from the elements and has toilets, running water and picnic tables for campers.
