Visit Big Drift on a 2 Day Wilsons Promontory Tour
Big Drift walk at Wilsons Promontory National Park is one of the highlights of the Good Times Tours 2 Day Wilsons Prom Tour.
The walk commences from the Stockyard campground next to the park entrance and is an easy 2km walk out to the massive dune system which provides views over neighbouring farmland and Mount Oberon to the south. The dunes are really unique and make for great photos, particularly on sunny days where the contrast between the sky and sand is really highlighted.
Hot Tip
- Don’t attempt this walk on a windy day. Being out on a dune system in high winds is unbearable as the sand literally whips around your face.
The pictures below highlight the Big Drift walk (on nice sunny days!)
