Great Ocean Road & Otways 2 Day Tour
Private & Public Tours Available
The 2 Day Great Ocean Road tour combines the absolute best of this iconic Australian destination. We visit all the attractions and have time to enjoy some of the best beaches in Victoria. Combine this with walks in ancient rainforests and spectacular waterfalls and a chance to see Australian wildlife this really is a fantastic adventure.
Private Tours 2024
This tour is popular with overseas and interstate families. Recommended accommodation for private tours is Bimbi Park near Cape Otway which represents the halfway mark down the Great Ocean Road. Bimbi Park offers a range of cabin and camping accommodation options available. Pricing is customised depending on group size, however I guarantee it’s great value for money. Please not for active families that love hiking, the 2 day Great Ocean Walk / Great Ocean Road tour is popular and for those groups with an extra day the 3 Day Great Ocean Walk / Great Ocean Road / Grampians tour is an awesome option.

Great Ocean Road + Otways Tour Itinerary
Day 1
– First stop is Bells Beach to watch surfers ride the world famous surf break that features annually on the ASP World Tour.
– Next stop is the Split Point lighthouse which gives us our first views of the iconic Great Ocean Road.
– We then visit Lorne where we’ll enjoy lunch and have some time to go for a swim, throw the frisbee or even play beach cricket if weather permits.
– Next stop is the stunning Erskine Falls which involves a short walk to the base of the falls and if you are game, you can stand under the waterfalls!
– Back in the bus, we drive 20mins along the coast to Kennetts River, where we get the opportunity to get up close and personal with local Koalas and King Parrots.
– Next we head to YHA Apollo Bay Backpackers where we’ll settle in and relax for the evening with a BBQ dinner.
Day 2
– First stops of the day is the Otways Redwoods forest which provides guests an opportunity to walk amongst giant Sequoia trees which were planted in 1938. These trees now tower 70m high and provide a great contrast to the native temperate rainforest we’ll be visiting next.
– Nestled in Victoria’s Great Otway National Park, Triplett Falls showcases three distinct cascades plunging into a serene pool. Surrounded by eucalyptus trees and ancient ferns, it offers a picturesque setting for nature enthusiasts.
– Next stop is the General Store at Lavers Hill where guests will be able to purchase lunch and take a short break.
– Leaving the Otways Rainforest behind we now head to Gibson Steps where we can descend the steps carved into the cliffs and stroll along the pristine beach, marvelling at the towering cliffs and intricate rock formations that have been sculpted over millions of years
– Next stop is the iconic 12 Apostles lookouts where you’ll have plenty of time to take in one of Australia’s most postcard and panoramic views.
– We now head to the gorgous seaside town of Port Campbell where you’ll have time to stretch your legs, grab a coffee or ice-cream before we depart for Melbourne.
