King Valley Wine Weekend
Perfect for groups in Melbourne looking to spend a weekend exploring the cellar doors of the King Valley Wine Region. Good Times Tours offers a flexible and affordable weekend tour of this stunning region. With cellar doors in close proximity to each other and the Milawa gourmet region only a 15 minute drive away the options are endless and the weekend tour can be tailored to suit the groups taste and budget. For groups coming from Melbourne there’s also the opportunity to add in wineries from the Glenrowan region as well.
Tour Duration – 2 Days
Tour Cost – $150 per person covers transport and wine tasting expenses. Good Times Tours will book accommodation, lunches and dinners according to the groups taste and budget.
Accommodation – Please note that Good Times Tours is setup to take groups camping and able to provide tents, sleeping bags etc. if the idea of sitting around a camp fire in the King Valley with a glass of Prosecco sounds appealing. Otherwise there’s a range of accommodation in Whitfield and Milawa to suit any requirements.
Pickup – Melbourne CBD & Metropolitan region and surround at 8am on Saturday morning
Dropoff – Approx. 7:30pm on the Sunday evening.
Minimum Guests – 6
Max. Guests – 11

1:00pm – Tasting and lunch at Brown Brothers in Milawa
2:00pm – Milawa Cheese Factory and or Hurdle Creek Gin Distillery
3:00pm – Tasting at Chrismont Wines
4:00pm – Tasting at Politini Wines
5:30pm – Guests will be driven to accommodation and also to dinner in the evening and back to accommodation at approx. 9pm.
10:00am – Tasting at Dal Zotto Wines
11:00am – Tasting at Pizzini Wines
12:00pm – Lunch at the Mountain View Hotel – Whitfield
2:00pm – Tasting at La Cantina Wines
3:00pm – Tasting at Oxley Estate Wines
6:00-7pm – Drop-off in Metropolitan Melbourne
