Great Ocean Walk
Devils Kitchen to Princetown
17kms – 4-5hrs
The scenery along this section of the trail is absolutely epic and my favourite along the whole trail. The views of the Southern Ocean really open up from high on the cliff tops and the anticipation builds as you know the finish line is not to far away. In the pic below you can just see the point where the Gellibrand River exits into the sea.
Approaching the Gellibrand River at Princetown is a welcome sight for those walkers who will have walked 15km’s from Devils Kitchen Campground to this point with only 2km’s more until refreshments and lunch is served. Walkers have the option of finishing here and being driven to the Gibson Steps and 12 Apostles or after lunch can tackle the last 7km’s on foot.
Views for days!
Edging closer and closer to Princetown
