Silverband Falls

2 Day Grampians Tour

Silverband Falls

Silverband Falls is a popular destination in the Grampians National Park due to it’s proximity to Halls Gap, however the falls are really only worth seeing after heavy rain. The second image below was taken in October 2016 which was an unusually wet Spring. Before deciding to visit Silverband Falls, it’s worth searching the hashtag #silverbandfalls on Instagram to see recent photos which will give you an idea whether the falls are worth visiting or not. If you do decide to visit, the Falls are a short and easy 800m walk from the carpark. Along the walk and near the falls, you’ll see the visible scars from the 2011 floods which had a large impact on both the Grampians and Wilsons Promontory National Parks.
